The 6ix
Time flies, so I couldn’t help but continue my Canadian adventure by heading to Toronto and Niagara Falls.
It was the first time I stepped out of Quebec boundaries, and I couldn’t hide my surprise in noticing all the (small but remarkable) differences compared to Montreal and its province. What I really loved in Ontario‘s capital was its downtown, its multicultural vibe, and eclectic neighbourhoods.
Hope to see you again, the 6ix!
The city had been built by people from innumerable elsewheres.
It was a chaos of cultures ordered only by its long streets.
It belonged to no one and never would, or maybe it was a million cities in one,
unique to each of its inhabitants, belonging to whoever walked its streets.
